The standing pilot distinguishes the Bosch 1600P tankless water heater from the Bosch 1600H tankless hot water heater. The standing pilot is similar to the conventional pilot lights that are found on most tank hot water heaters. This tankles water heater delivers 4.3 gallons a minute and needs just .5 gallons per minute of flow to activate the hot water heater. Bosch designed the 1600H to be installed by simply hanging it on the wall. A modulating gas valve has been integrated into the tankless hot water heater to control the temperature of the hot water. Bosch offers a twelve year warranty on the heat exchanger and two year warranty on other parts.
